About

A coach, a builder, and 200 headsets for kids who were never invited in.

FutureFit started as Charlie’s coaching, gamified, with radio-frequency headsets so a whole grade can work at once. The academy is how that work compounds. We’re in greater Johannesburg now, building the real thing.

Charlie Weyer

Founder, personal coach, lead facilitator

Founder, long-time personal coach, and the person in the hall. Charlie Weyer spent years as a professional MMA athlete, then built a coaching practice — 1:1 rooms where people walk in stuck and walk out with a different life. Those sessions produced real breakthroughs and a lot of personal reviews. Now he is putting that same work into Johannesburg school halls, with 200 radio-frequency headsets so a whole grade can get a first rep at once. He delivers the first 50 school days while he trains the facilitators who come next.

Jacques Joubert

Co-founder

Co-founder. After a professional MMA career, he makes sure a great day in the hall becomes a programme a school can actually run: the website, the booking flow, and the follow-through that keeps Friday alive into week twelve.

How we met

Two fight careers. Then this.

They did not meet in a boardroom. Charlie and Jacques met as professional MMA athletes — two people who already knew what it costs to get in the cage.

Both had successful fight careers. That chapter taught the same things this work still needs: show up, do the reps, look after the person next to you when the lights are on.

When that life closed, they did not invent a brand. Charlie built a coaching practice people actually changed in — 1:1 rooms, then halls. Jacques took the systems side: the site, the booking flow, the follow-through so a great day does not vanish by Monday. FutureFit is those two careers pointed at the same kids.

Where this is going

A plan with dates, not a mythology.

  • Now. Greater Johannesburg school days. We want the principal, HOD, extra-murals lead, or SGB — the person who can say yes. Send the form even if that’s not you; we’ll find them.
  • First 50 events. Charlie in the room. Facilitator training designed off those days — from what actually happens, not from a deck.
  • First six months. Live events fill the waitlist for the online platform. We open the academy when that list is real.
  • 18-month aim. 10 facilitators and a 2,000-learner daily capacity. That’s the target we’re building toward.
  • Three-year aim. 100,000 online members. Same rule: aim, not current fact.

If the mission is why you opened this tab, book a hall or join the list.
